Sean Wilson
My name is Sean Wilson and I'm a recent graduate from UWE in Bristol, UK, with a 2:1 in Film Studies and English. I've always enjoyed reading and writing and over the past few years have been keen to break into journalism. To this end I've undertaken several work experience placements in the media sector, most recently at Total Film in London where I had several articles published. I've also worked on my local newspaper the Herald Express and the Bristol Evening Post.
Currently, I am volunteering at my local hospital radio in Torbay, collecting requests from the patients on Sundays. This builds on my experience presenting a show on my university radio station The Hub, where I presented a show revolving around film scores, a passion of mine. Be sure to check out my blog on LiveJournal - http://seano-21.livejournal.com/ - filled with reviews and ramblings on movies.
I'm chuffed to be writing for Suite101, a site that is allowing the me the freedom to write about niche subjects, namely film music. Long may it continue!
